For the 1st matchday of Group F of the Champions League, Milan welcomes Newcastle at the San Siro in Milan. The group is completed by Paris and Dortmund, the first two qualify for the next phase of the competition, while the team that finishes in 3rd place will continue in the Europa League.
Milan premiere in the competition as last year's 4th place finish in the league gave them direct participation in the groups. He wants to repeat a course similar to last year where he reached the semi-finals knowing there the exclusion from Inter.
Last Saturday he landed bumpy knowing the 5-1 thrashing by compatriot Inter and this was her first loss in the championship after 3 wins in as many first matches. As the final score shows, she was defeated handily, particularly worrying about her performance and her many big defensive mistakes, a result that naturally brought strong criticism towards the players and coach.
Return after 20 years for Newcastle in the biggest club competition thanks to last year's 4th place in the Premier League. Participating in a very difficult group is of particular interest and a great challenge for what will be the path of the principle starting from the headquarters of Milan.
In this year's Premier League the championship has not started ideally, in a total of 5 games it has a record of 3 losses and 2 wins with the excuse that it had a difficult schedule. In their last match in time, they beat Brentford at home with a 1-0 score.
Milan comes from a very bad result and this forces them to have an extra reason tonight to get the victory that will on the one hand give them a boost in a very ambiguous group for the qualification and on the other hand they will win in calmness and psychology. Newcastle, for its part, is living the dream of returning to the Champions League after a 20-year absence, however, in terms of competition, it is not convincing with its performance. Seat, shirt and experience may decide the winner, in a match that I think is very likely to see a lot of goals.
Tip: Milan – Newcastle 1 & Over 2,5 with odds of 4.40
