AEK suffered the defeat in the previous match from the admittedly impressive this year Lavrio with 78-70. So ended the undefeated of the 21 games of AEK rather unexpectedly as they calculated that they would win this match. However, they should have been more suspicious as Lavrio came from 4 consecutive victories and even some in difficult seats and with quite big differences. Injury problems have played their role as in many games AEK goes down with 3-4 significant absences. Lodzki, Zisis and Slaughter will be missing from today.
On the other hand, the Colossus comes from a victory in Alexandreio on Mars with 74-84. From the beginning he took the lead in the score and kept differences around 10 points.
