AEK Athens FC – PAOK

For the 10th matchday of the Greek Super League, AEK welcomes PAOK to the OPAP Arena.

Without encountering any particular difficulties, AEK prevailed last Monday in Livadia over the local Levadiakos with 2-0. In the first part, he did not perform well and was trapped in the defensive plan of the home team and unfortunately could not be seen offensively. In the second half, however, she increased her performance, showed energy and passion and with goals in the 50' and 70' she got the precious three points.
Thus she achieved her 5th consecutive victory in the championship and at the end of the 9th race he found her in 2th place with 21 points and in minus 9 more than Panathinaikos after the victory of the greens yesterday in Volos.

Uneven landing for PAOK after the victory in Faliro over Olympiakos, the previous matchday they were tied 2-2 with Astera Tripoli in Toumba. A result that leaves him satisfied, as with a goal he conceded at the end of the first half and one at the beginning of the second, he found himself behind in the score with 2-0. Then he pressed and missed opportunities, he managed to reduce the score in the 81' and in the last minute of stoppage time he equalized.
Now having just one win in their last 5 matches PAOK has fallen back to 5th place with 16 points, 5 less than its current opponent and 14 less than the pioneer Panathinaikos.

AEK is in a very good condition, coming from consecutive victories in most of which they also played good football. Today it looks like the favorite of the match, helped by the hot home, but PAOK, while it has many ups and downs in its performance since the beginning of the year in derbies, shows character and is very competitive. I think we will see a nice derby with many phases and goals.
