Just a game today for the basketball league but with great interest as AEK welcomes Prometheus.
AEK comes from defeat in the match with Panathinaikos but the general opinion that remained after the end of the match was that AEK lost but won the impressions as they fought the match until the end despite the many and important absences. Moreira was the best of the yellows with 21 points, followed by Lagford, Gikas and Masioulis with 14, 12, and 11 points respectively. Many are absent from today as well, as Jankovic was added to Sloter, Zisis and Katsivelis, while Rogavopoulos is doubtful.
On the other hand, Prometheus comes from an easy victory over Hercules with 85-61. It started from the beginning impressively and quickly the score became 9-0. He reacted somewhat towards the end of the 1st period and at the beginning of the 2nd Iraklis temporarily reduced the basket but quickly the difference reached double digits and gradually grew and reached 27 just before the final whistle. Miller and the Grant brothers were the protagonists of the victory while Giannopoulos, Athinaiou and D. Agravanis also had a good performance. There are no racing problems except for the newly acquired Evans who has not yet come to Greece.
Summing up I think Prometheus is able to fight the match as he begins to find chemistry after additions and subtractions to the roster and encounters an opponent with many problems. Along with the Under as AEK must slow down to stay fresh until the end and be able to claim victory with greater demands.
The point I choose is ... Prometheus (+8.5 & Under 161.5 pts) in performance 2.75 at stoiximan.
