Al Ahly - Wydad

There is the first final in the African Champions League, with my column traditionally reporting on the biggest club event on the African continent. I may not always find a chance to play in such a match (like this year, for example), but I can't help but mention it. In Cairo in front of 55.000 fans, Al Ahly will welcome the title holder Ouida from Casablanca, Morocco. Ahli have 10 wins (by far first) and Uidat 3.

The Egyptians eliminated Tunisian Esperance in the semi-finals after winning in Tunisia (3-0) and winning in Cairo (1-0).
