The Super Cup in Qatar, with champions Al Sadd and cup Douhail meeting for the third time in eleven days. The previous two were in the Champions League with Al Sadd qualifying for the quarter-finals with a total score of 4-2 (1-1 and 3-1).
Al Sadd will miss striker Bagdad, with the Algerian setting an incredible record last year (39 goals in 22 games) while he was the only player to score the only goal in the recent Africa Cup that Algeria beat.
The absence of Baghdad is obviously significant, though on the other hand, Duchail's main striker Ali Almoez (who in turn had given Qatar the gold in the Asian Cup) will also be missing. Of course, last year's top scorer of the team, Yousuf El Arabi (22 / 26) is now competing in the Olympics.
Al Sadd's the right favorite but I am confident that today's match will not be as easy as the odds are, so I will go against it.
