For the 25th matchday of the German Bundesliga, Bayern Leverkusen welcomes Bayer Munich to the BayArena.
Leverkusen continued the positive results recently in the league, in the previous matchday, they beat Werder Bremen 3-2. He may have been behind in the score at 30', but then he reacted exceptionally well and reached the equalizer in the following minutes. In the replay with goals in the 56' and 84', he took a two-goal lead, with the hosts simply reducing in the 86' and shaping the final result.
This was the third match in a row for unbeaten Leverkusen as they try to make up ground lost from their poor start to the league, after 24 matches they are in 9th place with 34 points and minus 6 from the last European ticket.
On Thursday night, Leverkusen beat Ferencvaros 16-2 in the Round of 0 of the Europa League Budapest and easily qualified for the quarter-finals of the competition.
Third consecutive win for Bayer in the league, last week they prevailed at the Allianz Arena in Augsburg with 5-3. He was behind in the score from the first phase of the match but then it was stormy and by scoring 4 times he closed the half having locked the three points. In the replay he turned, conceded two goals and scored one in between to shape the final result.
So Bayer reached 52 points, after yesterday's victory of Dortmund fell to 2nd place and tonight he wants the three points for overtaking and plus 2 in the battle for the title.
Leverkusen comes from positive results and goes into the match with the best possible mentality. Today, of course, the difficulty index rises as the permanent champion of Germany for the last decade is in very good shape and wants the three points that will bring her back to first place. Both very aggressive teams with easy goals, I expect a fast paced match and many phases with Bayer finding the way for the three points.
Tip: Leverkusen – Bayer Munich Over 1,5 first half & Over 3,5 & 2 with odds 4.10
