I'll refer back to the regular season match that took place about a month ago about which we wrote the following:
"The Arab village of Reine in Galilee between Nazareth and Cana is believed to have been built on the biblical Cana as here is the famous 'Ain Cana' (spring of Cana) with the well-known.... wine! The village surprised everyone for its team, which with five consecutive promotions found itself in the big division. Together with the traditional Bnei Sakhnin, they are now the two representatives of the Arab world in Israel's top division. In fact, the previous matchday, the two teams engaged the press as the majority of their players did not obey the instructions to present themselves at the center with the colorful LGBT jersey. "We don't have a problem with anyone, but we won't support anything like that. Let people do what they want, but don't expect us to go against the most basic tenets of our religion." Essentially, today we are talking about a normal football civil war and with particular importance in terms of points as the "big" has chances for the top six (playoffs) while the small is in the last place and is constantly fighting for survival. Reine's coach, Sharon Mimmer, who was on Sakhin's bench last year and the year before, also share a common point. So maybe they both need the three points, but even with a draw I think they won't be disappointed"
Today begins the playoffs of the queue where eight teams in single games will try to avoid the last two places that lead to the B division. Sakhnin starts with a 7b cushion. therefore she will try to maintain, while Reine clearly has a more difficult task since the safety margin (+3) from the penultimate position is very fragile. Both, however, come from uplifting victories as Sakhnyi beat the hated Beitar Jerusalem 2-1, while Reine scored a great double in Jerusalem against Hapoel (0-1). He thus equaled the record of two consecutive victories in the major category and today he will try to break it with a third consecutive victory!
If Sakhnin was a little more comfortable and relaxed, I would be more comfortable with the doubles, but the way it is and the schedule of the immediately following matches, I have the impression that the match will hardly leave X again
