In their last game of the season, they lost 3-4 on penalties (3-3 q.d.) to the indifferent Montreal Canadiens. This defeat combined with yesterday's results has actually made the case quite difficult playoff(already from the beginning it was difficult) as it is now at -7 from 8th place and with three (3) teams vying for the position. Offensively they can be very strong, but defensively they don't do well at all. They have the 3rd worst defense in the Eastern Conference. As a result of this they have a high m.o. goals/match (7.1. the highest in their District) and having brought 62/73 About4.5 goals. In fact, at home they are even more productive as the numbers reach 7.4 goals/match and 28/38 About4.5. Absent are Anderson C.(T.25συμ/90.76%/1κ.ε.), Samuelsson Μ.(Α.48συμ/1γκ/7ασ), Greenways J.(E.8c/1g), Hinostroza V.(E.26cm/2g/9as) & Thompson T. (E.72cm/44g/45as)Eastern Region

They are fighting to get into the top 4, which will give them a huge advantage in the first games. But the defeat in the "derby" by the New Jersey Devils with 2-1 away from home kept them stuck in 5th place. with more play. Nice marginal game, just as we expected it to be. Now they want the victory as the 3rd team has moved away (-4 now). The m.o. of their goals is at 5.8. They don't concede goals easily and that's why they have those numbers. Especially away from home they are quite careful. Just 49/65 About4.5. Lindgren is the only absentee R.(A.58cm/1g/17as).
Both (2) teams want the victory for their own reasons. The New Yorkers are clearly a better team and in difficult times they know how to defend well (When o Shesterkin I.(T)he is in form he is one of the best goalkeepers in NHL). The hosts at the back are "holes" and will have two (2) key absences. Clear double from me.
