In the boxing-day fury in Bertania, I was tempted to be one of the (many) local derby of the day. Chori is close to the playoffs, and comes from an impressive 0-3 win over the leading Salford City on one of her best this year's appearances.
On the other hand, Southport, with a formidable form (0-6-10), carries on the relegation positions having won 2 / 9 / 17. Indeed, the "new" coach has already been starving for his first win (0-6-6). Nevertheless, there are signs of recovery especially after the second Jason Gilchrist's second goal scorer (from City of Manchester) who has scored all the last goals of the team (1+3+2)
The two of them are backing up their cap on New Year's Eve and, at Southport, they think they have the best chance to turn their heads. Of course, there can be no festive celebration, but such days in England have seen even stronger surprises!
