Dortmund - Lazio

For the 5th match of the 6th group of the Champions League, Dortmund welcomes Lazio.

Dortmund had an easy task last week against Bruges, prevailing 3-0 and getting its 3rd victory in the first 4 matches of the group. He was much better from the beginning of the match and managed to score two goals in the first half and in the second half he could afford to slow down, but even so he did not take any risks while scoring another goal. Now, with 9 points, he has secured the qualification to the next phase as expected, while with another victory tonight, he seals the first place in the group.
However, he did not do just as well on Saturday for the championship where he welcomed Cologne and lost after a bad performance with 2-1. After the end of the match, it is in 4th place with 18 points, minus 4 from the first Bayern.

Lazio took a decisive qualifying step last week with their 3-1 home victory over Zenit. She started the match impressively, scoring in the first 22΄ twice, despite the reduction of the score to 25΄, she was not affected and being better throughout the match, she found the 55th third goal that effectively secured her a three-pointer. Everything is in her hands now for the mathematical qualification to the next phase, as if she does not win today she will have the opportunity in the last match when she will host Bruges at the Olympic.
