Sebastian Vettel stole the first place in the start-up race yesterday in Malaysia, by the stunning Lewis Hammilton, with 0.174s difference, shortly before the timed. So tomorrow in Malaysia, the start will include the top Vettel and Hammilton who have open accounts from Australia. The RedBull, clearly more ready-made racing is probably in a stronger position than the Englishman's McLaren day by day improves. In the test, we got a taste of what we will see tomorrow, and certainly the times when Formula could be described as indifferent have gone unmistakably ... Hammilton began with the fastest parchments and for a long time stayed ahead of the remaining 0,1s staggered second to Vettel, third to Webber and Button to follow. The sequel belonged to the RBR team pilot and in particular to champion Sebastian who passed the timer to the English second champion taking priority in our predictions. Webber and Button follow Fernando Alonso by fifth, with Nick Heidfeld and Felipe Massa sixth and seventh, while Vitaly Petrov starts tomorrow eighth. Nico Rosberg and Kamui Kobayashi complete the top ten.
The development is going to be the theme of this year's race in the car, and although Red Bull has got its speed of last year's success, I think McLaren is better off. That's because while in the winter it was quite a bit back in some areas (to be polite by saying some, not all of us) crucial to the Formula, so far in an official race and as it seems in tomorrow it will again be equal to Red Bull. What we have not seen yet, and we are waiting for it how and how, is Ferrari's combat. Although this year we were hoping for a revival, not a resurrection with Alonso to exalt gods and demons for his success, yet things are lukewarm. Specifically, so far the Italian firm has not stood there for its own right, while the next slopes may be the best. We look forward to this.
Tomorrow's showdown in Malaysia will clearly be impressive, if anything interesting and unexpectedly touching. Vettel is leading in almost all segments, while Hammilton is very close to the RBR pilot. Back to them, Webber with Button is in a tremendous balance, and Alonso does not seem to have much hope for the weight but we would love it very much. So we are expecting an exciting race ...
