Credit loss due to loss when waiting for money: does anyone know?

I was forced to cancel my master card credit due to loss and requested a reissue while waiting for money from two bettors (365 and winmasters). A help if anyone knows if despite the cancellation the credits on the card are done normally?
At the bank I got, they told me confusedly, what I finally understood is that there can be a problem depending on how the companies will send the money (as a credit note or by typing the card number). In the second case I was told that there would be a problem. But still they did not tell me for sure.
In the meantime, after the cancellation, I do not "see" the card and its movements in e banking and I can not check if the money will come normally normally tomorrow or Monday. The new card will arrive around May 10 I was told.
If anyone has had something similar happen to them or is related to banking and what happens to the credits on a card that has been canceled let me know ...
