10 years after Underground o Kusturica directs "Black Cat, White Cat" (I think that's how it is in Greek, macka the cat and macor the cat). Although the script is not special, when the Yugoslav directs his patriots he really sunbathes. Probably something similar happens to me when I go to my village, everything I feel is flowing in my blood.
If the script was a little bit better, I think the movie would be much higher. However, it's worth seeing if you have not seen it.

Six years after "Black Cat, White Cat", Koustouritsa is once again directing his compatriots in familiar landscapes. This time the action is being transferred to mountainous Basin, on the border with Serbia. Once again, the director shows us that he considers his country, the former Yugoslavia, as a single country and it seems how much he is upset by its division into individual states. He plays with the union of Bosnia and Serbia, even through the railway and with a script that is more tied than his previous film, I think it is approaching very high levels.
As I have rewritten, the parts directed by my Kusturica are extremely intimate and certainly such films fit very well in my style and that is why the particular one takes a rather high degree, completely subjective.
