The email will be sent to [email protected] and as an identifier it will record your case number once you have started and personally send eMail with them and your details of course.
Keep in mind that the lawyer will need to resend the eMail because they will definitely be requesting some extra documents.
Also personal eMails do not matter.

If the money was more, I would tell you to talk to a lawyer, just send him an email and move on. Now the best thing you can do is to pester them on the phone and in emails until the issue is resolved.
