The MFI captures the cash flow direction initially and also the magnitude of its aggression.
Does it tell us if e.g. there is an inflow of funds in a heading but even if these positions are b aggressive? ie they are of some size (the outflow of capital).
It is a measure of which we supplement whether placements or liquids are dynamic.
MFI calculation
placements we have when the value is higher than standard (H + L + C) / 3 H = HIGH, L = LOW, C = CLOSED
and fluidizations when the value is less than the standard (H + L + C) / 3
WHEN MFI= positive flow/ negative flow the logic of positive to negative cash flow.
bears some resemblance to the RSI calculation method
SWIMMING BETWEEN 0 AND 100 WITH 50 BALANCE POINT AND 80 SUPPLIED LEVELS - 20 SELL.
To be used simultaneously with RSI, OPERATION IS IDENTIFIED AS TO USE WITH RSI
