4. The location of the field in the part of the area under redevelopment - which will fall to the Municipality - without the need to complete the expropriation process (National Bank Lands and ETMA).

In any case, it seems entirely possible that Panathinaikos will be able to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its foundation at the Botanikos stadium, even marginally. The phrase "but without changing the initial time target for the implementation of the project" is not mentioned in the text by chance. In the final agreement signed by the amateur and PAE, they state that the project must be delivered in the second half of 2008. Between October and December 2008 is the realistic goal.

The first one to be delivered for the amateur sections will have a capacity of 2.500 to 3.000 seats and is expected to house the men's volleyball section of Panathinaikos. However, the second and larger one, which will concern the basketball department, cannot be delivered for use before the end of 2013! The start of the project, the study and its entire planning will depend on certain details regarding the construction of the football field.

An important detail that will revitalize the sections of the amateur Panathinaikos, which under the presidency of Thanasis Giannakopoulos are flourishing: Its non-professional sections will be housed in a space of 5.000 square meters, while today their area does not exceed 1.500-2.000 square meters. And not only. The amateur Panathinaikos will receive money for the agreement from the day the works start! In short, from the very next season (2007-08), which means a huge increase in revenue and consequently a "revitalization" of the amateur sections.

Much has been heard about multiplex cinema and commercial uses within the Botanical Garden. The truth is that a shopping center will be built, but at a distance of 300 meters from the stadium and no commercial shop will be located inside the stadium. Only the group's boutiques and cafes have been planned around the perimeter - and not commercial stores as there are in Karaiskakis - and this was done with the agreement of PAE.
The income, after all, from the tickets and other uses of the stadium (suites) will be huge and it is not necessary to include shops inside the stadium, destroying the aesthetic image of the stadium. Panathinaikos has received information that last year Karaiskakis brought in an amount of 33 million euros from tickets, suites and stores, while its expenses did not exceed 15 million euros.

They won't be the world's top and most expensive ones like the ones in the Parc des Princes in Paris SZ, but of equal quality.
