the time has come for me to do a small review and to redefine some things regarding the choices of the races.
let's see statistics of where we are and what we kept and what we threw away.
Selected races total 35 (only the points I didn't score the two overs)
winners 15/35 42%
losers 21/35 58%
let's also see the subcategories starting with the underdogs (matches of 5 units).
outsiders total 11
earned 2/11 18% aces 8 2/8 25% if they had been chosen as d.e 1X we would have 7/8 87%!!!
lost 9/11 82% double 3 0/3 100% if they had been chosen as d.e X2 we would have 0/3 100%
although the statistical sample is small, there is some small indication.
Well, we kept the outsiders in the ace, playing them d.e 1X, we threw the outsiders to the double or to d.e x2.
remaining races 24
winners 13/24 54% aces 9/13 69% next door 4/13 31%
losers 11/24 46% aces 4/11 36% double 7/11 64%
it seems that by choosing only aces we would have a higher success rate (with a smaller average value though)
since the doubles have a higher average value, but not such as to justify the drop in success rates. So we keep aces and discard the doubles.
so we continue with a small change of the filters and choosing only aces and 1.x for the outsiders.
