After their excellent start, Valencia showed a bit of a slump with back-to-back away defeats to Eibar and Getafe. These matches were preceded by an excellent 4-2-0 run with a total of 16-9 goals, and amazing matches at the Bernabeu (2-2), Sociedad (2-3) and Betis (3-6). Even in their defeats, Valencia created many scoring opportunities, and had many unlucky moments. Now the upset over Girona, and the easy four over Las Palmas for the cup show that it will probably get back to normal. La Coruña kept just two clean sheets at home against Alaves and Leganes. With more aggressive teams (Thelta, Sociedad, Real) he conceded at least 3 goals, and of course he was defeated. I don't think they will be able to keep Valencia down, especially at the moment when the "very" Czaza returns.
