The first day's report ended with a small profit after Shigemund finally won. The second day is going well so far. Riske's win as well as the 3 sets in her race (thankfully I preferred to bet her on 25 + games as we only had 24 games in a three-set race), and Collins went through it, though. Unfortunately, Wagg just got lost despite being found with 2 break points in the 3-3 of the 3 set, but I'm happy with how I played it right in my opinion. Potapova got the first set though my bet here is small (the smallest with Azarenka). The main point afterwards is Suarez Navarro while Azarenka is a little bit betting.
There are no good choices for tomorrow. Women's tennis is much more unpredictable than men's and that is why I tend to favor favorites when there is serious value in betting. It makes no sense to bet on small odds when the probability of a surprise is serious. Of course I will bet on favorites when they are worth the odds as I did with Collins and Suarez Navarro. Contrasting, however, assumes that your outsider is showing something and tomorrow's are not worth it.
A good relative point for tomorrow is Mladenovic's victory over Ferrero (1,62) as he has already beaten 2 several times this year without losing a set. But Mladenovic is not to bet a lot as he did well when he was at the top 10 had some 15 series defeats.
Second choice is Venus Williams. The counter in the first round where I broke up but the 2,40 counter in Svitolina is a great performance and challenge. Venus is great at age, but when found in his day, he wins comfortably almost every opponent, let alone Switolina who has not achieved anything special in the Gun Slams. Of course, there is a minimum stake.
Finally, perhaps tomorrow's best point is Su-Wei's win against Moutsova. The Czech is up last and good looking but I find it absurd to be a favorite in the game. Tweezers are extremely dangerous even for top tennis players, let alone Mutsova, who are even lower in the rankings. 2.25 is probably the highlight of tomorrow without worth a serious bet.
