Another lost year for Fredrikstad who hopefully completed a decade in the minor leagues! The team, after two defeats, managed in the 90th minute to leave with one point (3-3) from the home of Side, but was not convinced again as in the last ten games, the score is tragic (1-2-7).
It was a strange year for Mjodalen. While he got off to an impressive start (8-1-0) and appeared to be a favorite for an immediate return to the big leagues, he began an unstoppable slide (1-2-11) that resulted in the resignation of longtime (17 seasons) manager Vegard Hansen. Assistant Kevin Nichol who took over on an interim basis seems to be getting the team back on track. Three wins in the last four games have brought Mjodalen within 4b of the play-off places, a gap that can be covered in the remaining five games. Obviously this goal can only be achieved with a win from Fredrikstad. The three points are absolutely possible with the home team's weaknesses
