Postponed game for the 3rd game where Larissa welcomes Prometheus.
Larissa tried in Thessaloniki against Iraklis, started the match well and managed to lead up to 14 points at the beginning of the 3rd period. But there the situation got stuck, Iraklis made a 10-0 and quickly entered the match again. From that moment on, it seemed that the momentum had changed with Smith obviously tired (he was the one who kept Larissa in front of the score) with Iraklis finally taking the victory with 73-69. Apart from Smith (31 p.), Webb and Brown were also distinguished, while from then on no one exceeded mediocrity. Gordon, who took Goodwin's place, was low and will logically need a few more matches to find rhythm.
On the other hand, Prometheus comes from the first away victory over the tough Messolonghi with 80-88. The match was a derby until the beginning of the 3rd period where no team could escape the score with Prometheus having the lead in the score for the most part. From then on, Prometheus increased the difference that reached up to 14 points in about half of the last period and somewhere there it was clear who would be the final winner despite the last attempt made by Messolonghi to reduce. Prometheus had five double digits who are trying to find their footing again after the many changes in the roster.
Summing up I think both teams have great offensive talent and with elementary accuracy the score will go up. Prometheus is better and without the weight of the European games, I believe that he will reach another victory.
The point I choose is ... Prometheus (-3.5 & Over 152.5 pts) in performance 2.65 at stoiximan.
