  The good work they had done last year, goes out on the ice again this year. They are in 3rd place behind only the very good Vegas. In their last game they comfortably beat the poor Columbus Blue Jackets 4-1, with the score not going up much due to their opponents' poor image up front. Very good offensively, they have found chemistry and changed their game a bit which was mainly more blocking. Doughty D.(A.5g/38as), Kempe A.(E.32g/20as), Fiala K.(E.22g/46as), Kopitar A.(E.26g/37as) don't stop distributing assists! In 6.4 the m.o. their goals having scored 56/69 Over4.5. Absent only the Durzi S.(E.62cm/7g/27as) & Fiala K.(E.66cm/22g/46as).

  It seems that the playoff case has been lost almost permanently and this is because the teams in the West that are above them are very strong and have increased the difference even further. Also with such a defense they can hope for nothing (3^η worst in the Western Region). But with such an attack 5^η best in the West they can and do have some great wins. Unfortunately for them after a four(4) streak came a loss to the bad Arizona Coyotes 3-2 away from home. Whatever Pettersson E. does (31 goals & 54 assists) if their defense doesn't improve they won't be able to win many games. It is the team with 2^ο higher m.o. goals in their games (7) and with most 61/67 Over4.5! Absences have been collected as the Bear E. (A.46cm/3g/11as), Ekman-Larsson O.(A.54cm/2g/20as). 11a) & Mikheyev I. (E.46cm/13g/15as).

As we mentioned above, one of the players that stands out is Kempe A. (E.) who has so far scored 32 goals in 69 games. That is, the guy scores 1 goal every 2 matches or so. With the absence of Fiala K., the players will necessarily share the assists but the scoring will be limited and with this defense that the Canadians have, I think it is possible for a goal to be scored.
