For the 37th and penultimate matchday of the English Premier League, Manchester City welcomes Chelsea to the Etihad Stadium.
Another win in the Premier League for tην Manchester City, the previous matchday easily imposed on Liverpool Everton with 3-0. He dominated from the beginning of the match and if he was misguided in the first half hour, the same did not happen afterwards where he scored twice in a few minutes (37', 39') and took a significant lead. In the second half, he came on strong and scored a third goal to "clean up" the three points.
With this victory, City reached 85 points and alongside Arsenal's two consecutive defeats by Brighton and Nottingham is celebrating this year's Premier League title.
Midweek Pep Guardiola's team crushed Real 4-0 for the second semi-final of the Champions League and ceremoniously qualified for the final of the competition where they will face Inter.
Another problematic appearance for tην Chelsea and one more match away from the three points, last week they conceded a 2-2 draw at Nottingham in London. He entered the match numb and found himself chasing the score from the first quarter, then lacked substance and inevitably went to the dressing room behind the score. In the second half, with two quick goals in the 51' and 58', she turned the tide but again paid for her defensive naivety by conceding the equalizer only a few minutes later.
So Chelsea reached 43 points and remains very low in the rating, specifically in 12th place having the sole objective of not finishing in the second half of the standings.
City have been unbeaten for months and are going from win to win, tonight the mood will be celebratory after mathematically winning the title and they will be looking for another performance in front of their home crowd. Chesley, for her part, continues to worry and waits for how the year will end.
Tip: Manchester City – Chelsea 1 & Over 3,5 goals with odds of 3.95
