Below we will deal as always with all the games of the day.
Tarec Saffiedine vs. Hyun Gyu Lim
Tatsuya Kawajiri vs Sean Soriano
Kiichi Kunimoto vs. Luiz Dutra
Kyung-Hoo Kang vs. Shunichi Shimizu
Max Holloway vs. Will Draft Beer
Katsunori Kikuno vs Quinn Mulhern
Royston Wee vs. Dave Guys
Mairbek Taisumov vs. Tae Hyun Bang
Dustin Kimura's vs Jon Of the Reyes
Leandro Issa vs Russell Doan
Tarec Saffiedine vs. Hyun Gyu Lim
The only obstacle in Saffiedine's career seems to be his injuries. He has only 3 defeats by decision of the judges, has not subdued and never knocked. The Black Belt at Shihaishinkai (karate type), gives him a lot of confidence in the upright battle and plays smartly by closing the distance from his opponents until they get tired, trying to subdue them. Lim has subjugated 2007 and 2009. From 2010, but afterwards 6 has impressive wins in the first round and one equally impressive in 2. Throughout his career however he has only gone one time in 3 rounds, 2006 with Jick Yong Kim and came a draw. This does not mean that if it goes to the 4 and 5 rounds the fight will be soil, but a big question mark about its endurance is born.
Vs. Sean Soriano Tatsuya Kawajiri
New undefeated talent against a 35-year-old veteran. THE Soriano has the opportunity to make great strides by overcoming Kawajiri's obstacle. The American is quite an aggressive fighter, but he also makes many mistakes, giving opponents the opportunity to subdue him. Fortunately for him, no one has succeeded yet. But now that he will fight with a much more experienced opponent, he must be very careful. Kawajiri has faced very good opponents in his long career but is used to losing to them.
Kiichi Kunimoto vs. Luiz Dutra Jr
Dutra was the first choice in The Ultimate Fighter Brazil 2. He showed very good evidence in submissions and rightly he is the favorite. He has to fight over 2 years and we do not know if he will be 100% ready. Kunimoto is probably a bit better in submisses but he does not seem to have the physical strength of Dutra.
Kyung-Hoo Kang vs. Shunichi Shimizu
They learn the same martial arts but Kang has a bigger body type than Shimizu. Shimizu is a logical favorite. But they are not fighters with great prospects for improvement, so I do not want to devote many hours to their analysis.
Katsunori Kikuno vs Quinn Mulhern
Kikuno has been fighting over 3 years. He is strong and good at judo. Mulhern he does not have much power. Nearly anyone in his class can throw him to the ground, but there is very dangerous with brazilian jiu jitsu.
Leandro Issa vs Russell Doan
Doane has a very strong right fist, good submissions but he wastes a lot of energy to throw someone on the ground but you do not get tired easily. Leandro stands out for his strong kicks that keep opponents at bay and teaches jiu jitsu, but I have also seen him make mistakes on the ground. I think Doane is a little better everywhere, especially in the standing battle.
Max Holloway vs. Will Draft Beer
I've seen many of Holloway's live fights at ufc and he showed me very good details, losing his last two fights to the limit by very good fighters. If he wants to answer his critics now is the time. His opponent has the same style of play but does not seem to have something extraordinary. But he is the finest fighter in his class, which means that opponents can easily drop him down but become dangerous when wrapping them with his long legs.
Royston Wee vs. Dave Guys
From thrones to lounges. Our two youngsters have seven total matches, so we can not make any conclusions. Galera's five victories give him a small lead over the two wins of Wee.
Mairbek Taisumov vs. Tae Hyun Bang
Taisumov is a famous Austrian fighter and has several fans good at kickboxing and bjj and is just 25 years old. His opponent is a good wrestler but is easily subdued to the ground. A logical favorite and quite sure Taisunov.
Dustin Kimura's vs Jon Of the Reyes
Kimura has so far one win and one loss in the ufc. .. Gracie bjj you consider one of the best, although in his last fight he submitted. His opponent has almost the same abilities but has faced worse fighters and has one more defeat.
