After seven weeks, the Spanish rider of Repsol Honda will be back on the track with the racing colors of the team that is leading this year. From 15 May, and after his fall, caused by Marco Simoncelli, he had to climb to RCV212 and complete even one round. That happened yesterday, and the pain samples were tolerated to make it into the next MotoGP, to be held at Mugello next weekend 1-2-3. So Repsol will have all three riders available and ready to pick up the most possible points. Both general and specialized are very optimistic about the BigH team. And we explain.

Generally the bike is at the height of its difference from other rival motorcycles as an entity. On the one hand, its long-lasting development in the past years and the "stagnation" of the rest make it seem to be a difference in what has been the best in the past few years on the world's slopes. This is based on the fact that it is now proven that a rider who has managed to win a championship, 2007, with the most dull motorcycle of the past few years, Ducati, this year shows an inconvenience and a first favorite for the title, which confirms where found. In addition, Andrea Dovizioso, whose best position was 4η and in general he was supportive in the collection of points and the development of the motorcycle, this year he has two second places (France and Britain) and a third (Netherlands), while his thirst for distinction is aided by maturity, which is so needed in this sport. Finally, Dani Pedrosa, far from claiming this year's title, as far as he could, showed very promising data. In the first match he was third (Qatar), in the second second (Spain) while in the third he was first (Estoril). In the fourth he fell and after losing 2 games the hopes for this year's coveted title are negligible or even non-existent. But his factory team is grateful since he is almost completely credited with this year's superiority of the motorcycle. Yes, the innovative motorcycle clutch is a unique technological element, but the general chassis and engine setup is considered his own work. And this can be seen even in the hands of Marco Simoncelli.

Alas if one says that this kid is by no means the most talented rider of this season. He has a great charisma, which is proven in every timer or in every test. His times are great and the adjustments he gives to his motorcycle are wonderful, but in every race he proves that the lack of composure or practice leads to disaster. So while the start rack finds him in great positions (with the pole position in the Netherlands taking off) the checkered flag of the finish already finds him in the paddocks or in the last places. What Marco Simoncelli lacks is experience and maybe composure. After all, it is no coincidence that he gathers the month of his fellow athletes with the way he drives. We are reminded of Casey Stoner, Jorge Lorenzo, Dani Pedrosa, even Edwards who publicly resented the way Simoncelli struggles and causes falls, unwittingly of course. Only Valentino Rossi supports him in practice as the two of them are an integral duo in their extra-competitive life. Friends, for years now, they spend a lot of their free time with friends and as much as possible, it will not be a little that Marco Simoncelli will have gotten from the phenomenon of the Valentino Rossi motorcycle phenomenon.

Besides, the 9 times champion and top name of all sports, Dr Rossi, is well known for its transmissibility. This year may not have the year of course, but I find it perfectly reasonable. A motorcycle like Ducati is hard to master. May the term "shame" not be a technician, but it completely describes the situation. In previous years it was top in strength, a feature that has not lost, but in conditions of struggle and competition, this is not the goal. The goal is as much power as you can control it, since uncontrollable force entails destruction. This is Valentino's goal this year. To be able to control the rifle of the Italian motorcycle. It changes frame, changes settings changes combinations but the coveted result, to have it competitive, has not yet appeared. Nicky Hayden's teammate with last year's set-up brings better results, clearly uncompetitive but firm. So it is obvious that the whole weight of evolution has fallen to the Italian. Everyone hopes that MotoGp in Mugello, Rossi's physical seat, will show something better but hard to predict. Of course we all want that as the sport itself needs a variety of results and dispersion of wins to stay high in interest.

For example, Ben Spies' victory in the Netherlands, though it seemed like a breakthrough, was not accidental but positive. On the one hand, because he brought the American rider, the psychological injection he needed to confirm his performance in last year's rhythm and to justify his contract at the Yamaha factory. On the other hand, because at last Yamaha like a motorcycle showed her teeth. It is no lie that in the last year's championship, things seemed to be stationary until the Gp in Assen, with Lorenzo doing what he could but be behind Repsol's riders. Although this year has begun promising for the Spanish champion with three seconds and a first place the results then were not that good. Silverstone had a fall, something we had seen a long time, while in the Netherlands, I think Simoncelli, could not claim anything better than 6η position. Of course not to be unfair, after his fall in the first round he got up and from the last he reached 6th surpassing what he found in front of him. Although history is only interested in the final ranking, what seems to be is that the Yamaha has evolved and its bikes are stronger than before. It remains to be seen now at Mugello how the fight will go to confirm or deny this. Rumor has it that the little Spies has taken it over and that he has developed M1, hence his first place in the Netherlands.

The sure thing is that this year's championship is starting and touching the agony and interest as the teams do not seem to have the same distance they had before a little fight. Look!
