Jorge Lorenzo breaks one record after another, and most importantly, most of his own! He won the championship and with the victory of Valencia he gathers the impressive number of the first 9 places, and the 16 podiums, and the 383 points. In yesterday's race, he cut us off with his contact with Marco Simoncelli (both almost fell) and then passed Simoncelli, Rossi, Pedrosa and finally Stoner, to finish first, 7 laps later, with a difference of 4,756 seconds. He was massaging irons yesterday and would not let the opportunity to celebrate in front of his fans and compatriots go to waste.
On the other hand, Valentino Rossi confirmed our undisputed origins. What if his injury still hurts him, whatever the team has changed, whatsoever it has been judged, his Mediterranean presence does not leave him quiet. He gave everything to cover the lost ground of the start, passed whoever he found in the most measured way, but failed to overcome the obstacle of the champion Lorenzo but also the raised in the last five races, Stoner. He finished third after a remarkably impressive pace. More impressive, however, was his farewell plot on Yamaha. Wearing a yellow Tshirt that wrote "Bye Bye Baby" embraced his M1 just as he had done in his first fight with this 2004 in South Africa.
Second Australian Casey Stoner, who just impresses. With exceptional rhythm and remarkable stability, he continues to be unmoved for moving to the best-ever HRC. It gives the impression that Honda made a terrific choice to have it in her roster and that the future is brilliant!
Then followed by Ben Spies after having played an extraordinary battle with Andrea Dovizioso (5th) and Marco Simoncelli (6th), took the fourth place. A place that ended an excellent year for the American rookie. Next season we will enjoy it next to Jorge Lorenzo at the Yamaha factory. The other American, Nicky Hayden, who until the third round was a wheel with Casey Stoner, lost the front in a sudden braking. Dani Pedrosa once again gave us the magic of the 3 playstation and the new Motogp that is being launched. Its launch and the second round, for a seminar. From tenth place (!) To the grid, he took action at the lead in the race, Casey Stoner. However, his injury did not allow him to finish the race well and he was in seventh place.
