Pedrosa starts first, followed by Lorenzo and Stoner

What has changed in MotoGP and Yamaha is no longer a tough motorcycle? Absolutely nothing, because it was never too far ahead of Honda or Ducati. These two were "less" than Yamaha. And I explain.

Throughout this year's MotoGP championship, we saw Jorge Lorenzo prevail relatively comfortably in almost every race. Error. The Spanish champion of this year's title and driver of Fiat Yamaha M1 just overcame himself and managed one victory after another with his own much sweat and a very big fight from his mechanical staff. What you see on TV never give him the whole picture, but as time passes and you can have a database to judge, things get clearer. So we can see that as time passes the Yamaha M1 begins and shows some of its defects, which very much the Spanish rider, but also the champion Rossi hid. I did not see anywhere this Yamaha M1 bumps out of horsepower. He was overcrowding on mounts and set-up, but only because he had thrown all his weight there. Of course it was enough and that became clear from the absolute dominance of the Spaniard. But I am very afraid that from now on things will start to become complicated. Jorge Lorenzo is undoubtedly a great rider. But he is not the only one.

The BigH empire, aka Repsol Honda, could not be left alone. With a very well-organized design (the Japanese love them), they struggled all year to get a homogeneous ensemble on their motorcycle. Yes, the dynamometers carried their engine high, but they knew very well that this was not enough. After all, they were not unaware of Dorna's regulation to limit the number of engines used to 6. After fighting for more than power… They also had Pedrosa and Dovizioso who could keep up with this evolutionary process, so only needed the largest motorcycle factory, it was time. And it seems that this effort is slowly bearing fruit. Both in Indianapolis and in the wonderful Misano, Repsol Honda motorcycles are undoubtedly very homogenized. The power, the suspensions, the brakes, even the traction control that used to not work together now form a whole, like the Vienna Philharmonic. Taking into account the ability of the fighter Dani Pedrosa, the result is unbeatable.

Ducati's third party, Italian GP10, is trying. On the one hand, the afflicted Australian Casey Stoner on the other hand, KentuckyKid, who had not made a good appearance last year, cost her a lot. But it is so. The truth is somewhere else. Motorcycles are in a desperate rhythm of evolution, and getting ahead is not that easy. So after the Australian's dominance in the world before the 2 season, things show that they were in the Italian camp. On the contrary. Being able to make a wildcat like GP8, it can not be that simple. So long it struggles, and the fruits of this effort seem to be with the relatively good and stable results of Nicky Hayden (do not forget that he is also a world champion). All the attention is now focused on the arrival of Valentino Rossi in the red turf, which, besides the marketing key, is also a matt race on the level of competition, since there is no better racing rider to develop the motorcycle at the top level. We all saw what he did with Yamaha M1, and earlier with Repsol Honda, and this is the most important moment in the Italian Ducati.

But with teamwork, let's take a look at the purely playful part. In Misano's trial, and talking about all the tests, Dani Pedrosa showed who the boss is. Thinking of the little parcel, the great soul, Spanish to make his second consecutive victory, for the first time in his career in the big class, and this is seen inside the track. It comes determined, with the right choice of fitting, the right tires, the appropriate adjustments and the times come. It seems to me that he deserves more of the helmet of the Lacedaemon Warrior, more than any other in his helmet. The satisfaction of his victory over his hateful homogeneous Jorge Lorenzo was evident in the paddocks after the first time in the last three years, we saw Dani smile after yesterday's pole.

Jorge, although he fought very well, did not win the first place, simply because he could not support his incredible driving in the closed parts of the track with the necessary horsepower, which he needed to collect tithes in the small but critical straights of the Italian track of San Marino. I am very afraid that even today this afternoon will judge a lot.

Casey Stoner, who wants to prove he is still here, will start third. With an important ally of strength in the straight line and his ability at the rodeo, he showed he will fight with Dani Pedrosa for the biggest champagne.

But he who surprised us positively was Valentino with the watch on his helmet. He will probably never deliver the weapons to a match on Italian soil and will struggle with nails and teeth so that the Italian flag will ride on the podium. On the contrary, Andrea Dovizioso missed his chance and will start the eighth, something he does not get used to (although in the race he will give everything for a better than fourth place). Next to him, Valentino will have Ben Spies (scheduled for the top five) and Randy De Puniet, who filled us with joy to see him recover his lost pace after his injury.

An important point is that the first Dani Pedrosa with the last Mikka Kallio had a difference of only 1 "776 second. Let's hope we have a nice fight with the best possible show and no fall ... (hear Casey?)
