For the 5th matchday of Group 4 of the A category of the Nations League, the Netherlands welcomes Belgium to the Johan Cruijff Arena. The group is completed by Wales and Poland, the first of its rating advances to the Final 4 of the competition while the latter is relegated to the B division.
Without having much difficulty, the Netherlands prevailed on Thursday night in Poland with 2-0 and ensured by a very large percentage the first place and the qualification to the finals of the event. She was superior throughout the match and with two goals in the 13' and 60' sealed the three points, reaching her 4th victory in 5 matches in the group.
Now one point is enough for her to lock the first place as well while it also has the advantage of winning by 3 goals in the first match against Belgium in a possible draw.
Belgium confirmed the title of favourite on Thursday night and beat Wales 2-1. In the first half she was much better than her opponent and by scoring two goals she took a strong lead. In the second half, they accepted the reduction of the score early on, but then they were not in any real danger and kept the score in favor until the end of the match.
This was her 3rd win in the group though looking for a minor miracle to take first place as they need to beat the Netherlands by at least 3 goals after losing 4-1 in the first match between them.
The Netherlands have essentially secured first place even if they lose today by a small score. Belgium, for its part, is hoping for a miracle, but realistically it seems impossible. Both are among the most productive national teams with great fluency in scoring and it seems unlikely that we will not see a match with goals and spectacle.
Tip: Netherlands – Belgium GG & Over 2,5 with odds of 2.55
