Together with the Champions League in football, the Champions League for the T20 cricket composition starts this year in India.
Unfortunately this year will not take part in the organization English clubs, since the calendar does not suit them. 4 teams from India, 2 teams from Australia, 2 from South Africa, 1 from the West Indies, Pakistan, New Zealand and Sri Lanka participate in the event.
Obviously, since the tournament is held in India, Indian teams have the avant-garde and many are expected to form a small Indian Premier League semi-finals, as the other teams do not seem able to cope with them.
From 4 Indian, I think Chennai Super Kings is the most complete team and fairly given as the favorite of the event. One would say they are at the same level as the Mumbai Indians, but the latter were hit hard by the departure of Lasith Malinga, who is the top bowler with most wickets in the history of the event.
I think Chennai will be able to reach the final. There we will get a little cover, perhaps, because in a T20 game everything is done. But a team with Dhoni, Jadeja, Michael Hussey, Dwayne Bravo, Morkel, du Plessis and other stars is eligible to be the favorite at such an event.
The event starts with the qualifiers on 17-18 and 20 September and continues with the clubs and the final stage. The final is on October 6. Not a month or so.
