The Euroleague premiere brings two naturally attacking teams face to face who like fast pace and big scores but are indifferent to their defensive performance. CSKA Moscow vs. Armani Milano and joy Gospels for basketball fans as a very nice game is expected as the expediency will be particularly limited at this stage of the season.
CSKA may have lost Teodosic but made sure to fill the gap with the best player available, Sergi Rodriguez, while Klaiburn and Hunter are considered quality upgrades compared to their predecessors. The leader of the team, however, will remain Nando De Colo, who is considered the top player on the European floor at the given time, while no changes are expected in the philosophy of coach Itoudis, who seeks fast pace and particularly high scores.
Armani has also moved dynamically in the transfer market, acquiring many quality players, but it remains unknown whether all of them will have managed to become a team. The Italians come from consecutive failed years which were characterized by quality attack but unacceptable defensive performance and with the players acquired this year I see no way to improve the defensive behavior of the Milanese.
The game shouts for over and 159.5 is a highly satisfactory handicap which will be our choice today.
