Most of us have played or watched a billiard game. The variants
of the game is enough French, American, etc. We will be betting on the
snooker, which is widespread in Great Britain, and has recently
a big boom in China with its top spokesman Ding Junhui.
The snooker is said to have begun in India 1875 to get its current form after
a few years with the addition of blue and brown ball. The game continued to grow and
1927 became the first World Championship with Joe Davis winner who won 6,1 pounds
England that compared to the 250.000 pounds taken by World 2008 winner Ronnie O '
Sullivan was scarce.
The rules of the game are relatively easy, we have a 3.7 X 1.8 rectangular table
meters, a white ball (also known as cue ball), fifteen red and six colored balls
(black, pink, blue, brown, green and yellow.) Winner of course is whoever gets the most
points in a game (frame) and then fill in a specific number of frames that you have
are required depending on the tournament. At the corners of the table and at the center of the two large sides
there are holes where the balls have to be inserted.
The order in which balls are entered is not
but at random it must first enter a red ball that counts for one point and then
necessarily a colored (any). The points for the colored balls are shown in the picture.
Points also get players when their opponent fails. There are a number of
cases where a player can fool, but the most common is to put it on
white in a hole or not touch any ball.
Snooker is a very difficult game and the player needs to have steel nerves because
a wrong stroke can give the opponent a major advantage. No1 at the moment
in the world based on the points he has accumulated in tournaments over the last two years is the Brit
Mark Selby, Mark Wylliams with NO2 Welsh, and Neil Robertson of Australia. But in the list with
those who have earned the most money for the latest 11 tournaments, we find the top
the highly molded British Judd Trump with second big Ronnie O 'Sullivan and third here and here
Neil Robertson.
The next week in 15 January begins the very important Masters tournament that I believe in
that we will be talking extensively in the coming days, where the Chinese Ding Junhui will try to
defend the title he took last year.
