For the 3rd matchday of the Dutch league, Sparta Rotterdam welcomes Ajax to Sparta-Stadion Het Kasteel.
Sparta battled it out but couldn't avoid a 3-2 defeat at home to Alkmaar last week. He got off to a blistering start with a goal inside 8 seconds, the fastest in league history - but it was no match as he conceded an equalizer late in the half. In the second half, he fell behind in the score in the 55', equalized immediately, but in the 65' he conceded a third goal and the final result was formed.
So Sparta stayed on one point after the premiership draw with Heerenfen, a small sample but satisfactory if you consider that we are talking about an almost new roster compared to last year.
Ajax had a party last week, crushing Groningen 6-1 in Amsterdam. As the final score shows, it turned the match into an attacking monologue and in fact if the players of the home team had been more careful in the final effort they would have reached even higher levels. He opened the scoring in the 4th minute, he conceded the equalizer in the 10th minute, but he did not hesitate and scored two more goals until the break. Same pace and in the replay, he scored 3 more goals giving dimensions of triumph to his victory.
This was Ajax's second win at the start of the season in his effort to keep the sceptres, a problem arose with the winger Anthony as a proposal arrived from Manchester United but Ayanda's intention for the time being is not to give him away.
Sparta, armed with its combativeness, will try to "steal" a result, but the capacity difference is large and the outcome of the match depends on the appetites of Ajax. I think that the champions will enter strongly from the beginning to get an easy and quick victory with great ease in scoring.
Tip: Ajax to score in both halves with an odds of 1.72
