The statements of George Karagounis before the departure of the National Football Team in the context of 2th Group F qualifier for the Euro 2012 qualifiers.
In detail the statements on the departure of the National Mission for Croatia:
We put more pressure on ourselves in the first game but we are still at the beginning. We are playing with one of the strongest teams in Europe, everyone knows that, while with the result of the first match things became more difficult.
We have confidence in the team's capabilities and results, we are still at the beginning. We have all the way forward to be corrected. We can not directly change too many things in the team. Just as there is not much pace yet but the two points we missed do not come back, so we will give it all now to Croatia as we did, especially in the second half of the game against Georgia, to see what we can do.
We play with one of Europe's best teams in terms of hardware. We will fight offhill in a full court and this may be good for us because in difficult games we show character.
We should have been more comfortable, but even so, I think we have a good team, we believe in our capabilities and we will go for the best.
Winning Croatia is very important but, as I said, it is still too early, we have a year and a half to finish the qualifying phase. There are many games and do not forget that there is not only the first but also the second.
This good thing we have as a team is that we do not accept goals. As long as you have zero back it is very important because you can put a goal and fill your opponents with anxiety.
Correspondingly this was with us in the previous match with Georgia, we filled with anxiety and lost about 30 minutes, but in games you have not found pace you need luck factor to avoid the so-called gels.
