Rutgers (+ 3.5) - Penn State

I'm going to the NCAAF bets this week, with a big 10 matchup with Penn State traveling to Rutgers.

A couple with a story as they are a rivalry game with the two teams fighting in the past and this year after many years they will play again and return to the same conference now. Of course, Penn is a historic and powerful school, but the punishments in the last two years have cost him and have it down.

Rutgers has been significantly improved lately, with 3 bowl games and three consecutive 9 + winning seasons. The key to this year's Rutgers is qb Gary Nova, a talent player who has started well this season with the support of a good running back and a team of talented receivers. His offensive line is experienced and well knit as well.

Penn State also has a good qb, although Nova has no experience with a strong hand. So far, Penn has not shown anything in the run game, though his offensive line does not seem so tied to the team becoming one-dimensional and supporting only the hand of qb. The rival defenses have so far been seen with qb having already dropped 4 picks this year. 2-0 is Penn, but far from convincing appearances, the expiration has won the UCF, and blatantly against the weak Akron. Already Penn is -5 on net. turnovers, worrying the stacks as he goes to his first difficult away game.

RUtgers made another win last week by reaching 2-0 without getting a great performance, but I think he was looking at today's game better, coming from a great double at Washington State. The two teams are not huge on the cards, and Penn's light favorite. it probably has more to do with the heavy jersey than the reality. It is quite likely to be a close match and in such a match I always look to get points even if you become the underdog. Best line at + 3.5 @ Bet365, with the value in 1.86.

Penn State - Purdue (Game total 142)

I also pass on a proposal from NCAAB in a match that starts early today. Two moderate teams will collide today, with Penn's Nittany Lions hosting the Purdue Boilermakers.

2-6 and 3-5 their respective recordings with the two teams being at about the same levels this year and a similar style of play. Negative aggressors as both are moving below the 70 points this year at the conference and at least try in the defense field with their defenses being near the limit of 70 points. Similar to their aggressive numbers with their shooting being below 40%, the three-pointer under 30% and shots at moderate levels. The two current opponents make double-digit turnovers in their matches this year.

Indicative of the defensive game they played and the ugly aggressive game they played were their first 18 / 1 match, with Purdue winning 65-64 in a bad game. The line in that match was at 147.5 points. This was also the 3's under range that they brought in, while in their last 6 matches they have 5 under. Similar to this year's record at the Big 10 under with both teams moving to 5-3 in the same direction.

Another tough match is expected between the two current opponents, with today's start (breakfast match) not helping the energy, while not famous for their scoring and the spectacle. Big attacks and a lot of wood will logically have the current menu and I can hardly see to exceed the current limits set by the book in the set of points. Few companies offer a limit at this time, with Paddy having it on 142, and I'll buy it under here.

Penn State - Minnesota (Game total 144)

Another proposal tonight by NCAAB since the program is quite large. In Big 10 tonight, Penn's Nittany Lions will welcome Golden Gophers from Minnesota.

The Lions have a 6-3 record and 0-2 at the conference, while Gophers 12-3 as a whole and 1-1 at the conference with a few clear away games. I will not select a winner in this pair but the overs. 8-4-1 at Penn State this year, 4-6-1 at the Gophers.

A crucial match for both today and Penn has lost 3 from their last 4 games and is still without a win at Big10 while Minnesota has a very difficult program to play as they play with elite teams (Michigan State, Ohio State, Iowa, Wisconsin). The fact that the line is just one point over Penn here shows that the book is waiting for a derby with the two teams moving near the score.

Penn State is a remarkable aggressive team (4 in the Big Ten) with 78 rebounds / matches while accepting the 75 points in their matches. He stayed low in the previous match (55 points) difficult to repeat a similar appearance tonight. In the defense field he has problems as he does not score well in the periphery and allows his opponents to win big percentages from the three-pointer. Today he will have his hands full as the Gophers have already scored 122 three times this year. Minnesota is a very decent team, close to 76 points and good odds and shots and three-point as we said before (35%). In this year's away match, Minnesota receives 72 points.

The two opponents have a particular appeal in the games, with 15 from 18 last having given an independent seat from 97 and then ending in overs, while 7 at 8 at the same time at Penn's headquarters went to the overs.

A slightly better team is the Gophers but Lions is equally at home. Today in a match that both of us want to believe that they will stay close to the score in the whole match, while both are good enough in the aggressive field with moderate defenses and there they will be based. Quite likely to go today over the 70 points and both tonight, therefore, the limit on the 144 points we find on Paddy Power, I think it is worth.
