I'm going to go on a NBA tonight, leaving the warm Mavs out of my choices as I think the Bobcats will fight this tonight. My choice will be in the Wizards vs Memphis match.
The first back-to-back match for the Wizards who tomorrow will go to Houston before the all-star break, so I have the feeling that they will give something more today than tomorrow, which is a harder match. They took the match with the Sacramento, tightening their team's defense again and proceeding beyond where they have record 12-12 this year and 16-8 ats off. Without new absences the Wizards are beyond the well-known Harrington. Some other trends that stand out for this year's Wizards are 17-12 ats as outsider this year, and 5-1 after a good defensive match (-85 points). Today the Wizards will try to overcome 500 again in their record (25-25 at this time) with the team battling Eastern for a play-off position and ranging between 4 and 7.
Another team that has changed recently is Memphis Grizzlies. The good win is past the match with Minnesota and then it is a great loss of injury to top conley guards. If we add the recent news that Lee and Lee are hurting today and are doubtful with Conley and the long-term injured Allen, the problems in the region are enormous. Personally, I believe that if one of them plays today is going to be a success for the medical price, what condition will of course be another matter. Matches after the Conley's absence showed a sharp fall in scoring, in the last 5 they did not surpass the 100 points, while twice they stayed under 80 and in the most recent they went into extensions to overcome them. The last two games of disappointment over their lower opponents as they lost from Cleveland and the previous one, won the hard-hitting Hawks. Their only other victory came against the weak Bucks. The last 5 is 1-4 ats. Tomorrow he finishes his schedule in Orlando before the all-star break. The group this year is 13-14 within, with a distasteful ATS 10-17. In other trends for Memphis we have 6-9 ats in non-conference matches, and 2-5 ats where matches score 85 or fewer points.
Once again, we have a bad tradition here for the Wizards, but I think that it has become a habit for them to face such opponents. 1-6-1 Wizards in the last 8 in Memphis, with Washington showing something in their last 3 matches as a 2-1 ats.
Opportunity this match for the Wizards who succeed Memphis in a bad situation, while Washington is playing very nice basketball this time. The fact that the Memphis area is absent brings the match even closer to the basket where Randolph and Gasol will not have an easy task tonight against bigs that can match (Nene-Gortat). As an underdog here in Washington, who gives him points makes me a bet. 5.5 points in Washington can be found at Stoiximan @ 1.80.
