Volos - Olympiacos Piraeus (Over 1,5 first part)

For the 1st matchday of the play offs of the Greek Stoiximan Super League, Volos welcomes Olympiakos to the Panthessaliko Stadium.

Volos couldn't seem competitive in the last match of the regular season of the league and was fatally defeated at home by PAOK 1-0. In fact, a score that flatters him as he saw his opponent - especially in the first half - miss many great opportunities and finally concede the only goal of the match in the 30th minute. Huge double for Olympiakos last week, they prevailed at the OPAP Arena of AEK 3-1 and became the first team to win the doubleheader in its new home. In the first half he had a passive role in the match, he received many phases but withstood the pressure of the home team and went to the locker room with zero passives. In the second half, he was lucky in his first phase (50') to open the scoring and then with his counterattacks, he scored two more goals in the 53' and 67', taking a significant lead. A few minutes later he was left with one player less, he accepted the reduction of the score in the 81', but with time on his side he kept the precious three points.
With this victory, Olympiacos reached its undefeated streak of 16 consecutive matches and maintained its hopes of winning the title, reaching 56 points against AEK's 59 and Panathinaikos' 61.

Volos performed satisfactorily during the regular season of the championship and rightly found itself in the top six of the standings. Chances of winning a European ticket will look like an overachievement, having as a sample that in all the matches with the "big ones" he proved to be an easy opponent. Today, Olympiakos is in its best condition this year, the red and whites, despite their absences, can be expected to reach a comfortable victory by entering strongly from the beginning of the match.
